Almont Green creates life size autostereoscopic 3D photographs that are the most realistic in the world.

He digitally captures an array of multi-perspective images at very high resolution, extreme focal length, and with extended dynamic range using lighting and composition techniques he has developed specifically for the purpose of life size 3D photograph creation. He brings his own interpretation to the photograph, processing the multi-perspective images by hand with the aid of computers. He manipulates each image, adjusting tonal balance and luminance details available within the extended dynamic range of his unique photographic array. With software and processing methods developed exclusively by Almont Green, his vision begins with the creation of a digital master, just as a traditional artist uses brushes and paint on canvas, to achieve the ultimate in artistic 3D photographic realism. From this digital master he creates a life-size giclee print with up to 10 different HDR pigment inks output via an Ergosoft raster image processor at a print resolution with approximately 1,500 non-overlapping dots per inch (max 3.5 picoliter ink droplets). This print is then laminated by hand onto a high resolution hand selected lenticular lens material with three times the normal lens density used for interlaced imagery.

Natural viewing of multiple perspectives is now possible.

Some traditional professional photography rules apply.

There is a studio or location shoot with expenses that compare with standard professional photography. But some elements of the photography session are unique. Lighting requirements and adjustments are different. The camera setup is different. The basic idea is similar to standard professional photography but it is considerably more complicated and once the shoot is finished, all similarities end. Images must be pre-evaluated for technical accuracy and from those the most artistic images are selected. An image array then undergoes up to 10 hours of custom computer processing and printing. During this process images are calibrated to an optical lens overlay where the interlaced image spacing exactly matches the number of lenses per inch. The image is then custom bonded by hand with a special laminating machine to the lenticular (lensed) material. For Almont's "Ultimate" series, prior to printing a special duratrans print material (a special type of plastic paper) is color matched to an LED backlit fibre-optic frame. The print is mounted for display behind the world's finest optically coated non-glare UV protected museum glass.

This process ensures a pristine awe inspiring image. There are no "copies". Each image is an original with slightly different optical properties (only discernable by a professional).
